Developing our innovative chainrings, meticulous CAD design met advanced FDM 3D printing for a new level of drivetrain performance. Our journey started with digital precision, using CAD software to shape every curve, contour, and detail. Then, FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing brought our designs to life, creating tangible prototypes that set the stage for what’s to come. Each design underwent careful evaluation on individually designed and manufactured test benches, ensuring that only the finest geometries progressed to serial production. Testing
Our commitment to excellence doesn’t end with design and innovation. It extends to rigorous testing on our own specialized benches, in conjunction with a proprietary power measurement and loss tracking system that provides insights like never before. Picture this: on our benches, power flows in a circular arrangement, replicating real-world conditions with precision. In the first setup, the transmission is subjected to torque through torsional stress. With a maximum constant load of 220Nm, our gear system faces challenges head-on. What’s more? Our measurement system offers real-time data capture, allowing us to monitor every nuance as it happens. Damage detection and chainring comparison are meticulously executed through advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, coupled with sensory evaluations and microscopic examinations. We leave no detail unturned, observing wear and tear, measuring mass reduction with utmost precision, and detecting fluctuations in vibration levels (uneven running) as well as friction escalation.
